Lovely rural location in an historic property. lovely atmosphere on quieter days but this is a very popular pub and often is a 'victim of its own success'! Ideally you need to book - especially at the weekend - but food is usually good quality, local ingredients, and the menu is changed on a monthly basis but retains popular dishes.
Some good beers available. 'Well-behaved' Children are welcome but this is a pub for grown-ups!

Really nice pub in the Shropshire countryside.
The food is really good, but it is a little pricey.
They do a nice selection of ales, and the staff are really friendly.
It is a pretty posh place so I wouldn't turn up in tracksuit bottoms :P
